To kick off Rosalind Kane Day, the Shamokin Community Gardens will be hosting the first Yoga in the Park with instructor Christie Blair. $10 donation to the Shamokin Community Gardens. All levels are welcome. Please bring your own mat. A 45 minute energizing vinyasa flow will feature a theme essential for growth, on the mat and within our community. From a strong foundation to growing toward the light, the class will physically and mentally prepare our minds and bodies to nourish and embrace our environment.
This year marks the 9th anniversary of Rosalind Kane Day! Rosalind Kane Day is a clean up day here in Shamokin. Volunteers are asked to be at Claude Kehler at 2pm and they are assigned spots in the city to clean up.
